How do I opt-in my domain name for Fast Transfer?
To opt-in your domain name for the Fast Transfer service, it must be listed for sale with a supported aftermarket provider. The providers we currently support are Afternic and Sedo MLS
In order to enable the Fast Transfer service for your domain name, you may be expected to configure some settings in your account with the provider. We recommend you contact the provider and confirm that your domain name has been correctly configured for Fast Transfer.
Once your domain name has been listed for sale and configured for Fast Transfer, the aftermarket provider will alert the HiNet platform about your request to opt-in for the Fast Transfer service. When we receive this alert, we will send you an authorization email on the Registrant contact email address for your domain name. This email will contain a verification code which you must enter in your control panel to confirm your opt-in request.
To submit the Fast Transfer verification code :
- Log into your control panel.
- Go to Manage Orders and click on Fast Transfer Opt-in
- Copy and paste the verification code from the email in the space provided.
- On the subsequent page, verify the domain name(s) being opted-in for Fast Transfer.
- Review and agree the terms and conditions, and complete the opt-in.
Opt-in several names at once
The Fast Transfer authorization process consolidates all the domain names you have listed for sale with a provider, and sends you a single verification request for them all. When you receive the verification code and submit it in your control panel, you will be able to see a list of all names that can be opted-in using this code. When you complete the process, all the names will be opted-in at once.
If the verification email is not received.
If you do not receive the authorization email after you have successfully listed and configured your domain name, you can re-send the email by doing the following:
- Log into your control panel.
- Go to Manage Orders and click on Fast Transfer Opt-in .
- In the section that asks if you 'Don't have the Verification Code?', enter your domain name to re-send the email.
